Bamboo sticks: serve cucumber, celery or green melon bamboo sticks.

Panda Biscuits: Make panda shaped biscuits with a bear cookie cutter

Oreo Stack: stack up black and white oreo biscuits for a great centrepiece

Panda Sandwiches: cut your sandwiches with bear biscuit cutters. Push two raisins into each for eyes.

Sweet Pandas: try liquorish or humbugs for some black and white sweeties

Panda Cupcakes: use K&C’s free printable cupcake toppers.

Panda doughnuts: make black markings out of icing and add to white iced doughnuts for panda doughnuts!

Fruity Pandas: skewer fruit like blackberries or black grapes to tie into the colour theme

Nibbles: popcorn will fill them up and tie in to the black and white theme.

Panda figurines: place panda figurines on the party table. You could even add a party hat! Here is our tutorial on how to make tiny party hats. Or there is a panda complete with party hat in our cake decorating kit, a shortcut to a cool cake!

Aim to have a mix of active and calmer games. Here are some ideas… you can do most of them using items you already have around the house.

Active Party Games:

Panda Poo Straw Game: children suck maltesers (panda poo) up with straws and try to get as many as they can into their paper cups!

Doughnut Eating: string doughnuts on a long piece of twine. The first to eat their doughnut without using their hands wins!

Panda Balloon Race: children line up in two teams with a panda balloon for each line (you could draw a panda on a white balloon with a black sharpie pen). They race to pass the balloon along the line, bouncing it in the air to the next child. The team who finishes first wins. You could make it harder by saying they can only use their elbows…

Panda Pop: children stomp on lengths (or individual squares) of bubble wrap. Add some background music and a bubble machine to up the wow factor!

Panda, Panda, Grizzly: duck, duck goose with a change of animals. An oldie but a goodie!

Quieter Party Games:

Hot Panda Poo: Like hot potato but pass some scrunched up brown tissue paper around the circle…the one holding the poo when the music stops is out!

Panda Slime: icky, sticky slimy fun for your guests! Make a batch of slime before the party, using Red Ted Art’s safe slime recipes here.

Guess the Sweeties in the Jar: to win the jar of sweeties! Look out for black and white sweets to go with your theme.

Decorate Panda shaped Biscuits: messy but fun and they can take home their creations.

Panda Wrap: Get some black and white crepe streamers and pair the children up. Then race to see who can be a finished panda first! Maybe finish them off with a panda mask!

Panda water Beads: fun, little beads that expand in water into squishy balls that children love. Hide small prizes, plastic pandas in them for your guests to find! More on water beads here.

Adopt a Panda: get a set of beanie pandas and put them up for adoption! The children could take them home in plain party boxes which they have decorated as panda homes!

Pass the Parcel: an old favourite! Kit & Caboodle have handmade pass the parcels to save you the hassle of wrapping your own

Think about using a mix of black and whites and maybe another colour like blue for your decorations. Go mad with balloons, (use a mix of sizes from teeny tiny to huge). You can scatter confetti on the party table if you have it.

Make your life easy on Party day by doing as much set up as possible the day before. Sort any food that can be done in advance. Inflate all your balloons the night before (unless you are using helium).

Hi, great ideas here! I can’t access the link to your panda party printables. Have looked on your Etsy store as well. Is there still a link available? My panda-mad son has his birthday next week so we are trying to make it special at home 🙂
